WELCOME TO THE LIONS DEN, THE PRIDE OF THE GDFNL

Established in 1965, The Belmont Lions Sports Club are an inclusive and proudly family orientated Sporting Club based in Belmont, Geelong, currently participating in the Geelong and District Football Netball League. Our Home Ground, Elite Training Centre Oval, is conveniently located in Glyn Street and provides recently updated facilities to enhance viewing of both Football and Netball. We are deeply connected to our local area and are proud to have been in a ground breaking partnership with the Wathaurong Community for more than 40 years.

The BLSC currently boast a membership base of 500 + active members and players and provides the local community access to play and enjoy Football and Netball. The club provides a warm, welcoming social environment to members and our guests from all areas of the community, both at the Clubrooms and our Sponsors venues. We currently have teams ranging from Auskick through to Senior Football, as well as Junior grades through to Open Grade Senior Netball and are committed to fostering the sustainability and growth of our junior programs, thus ensuring our long term prosperity within the GDFNL.
