WELCOME TO THE LIONS DEN, THE PRIDE OF THE GDFNL

Established in 1965, the Belmont Lions Sports Club (BLSC) is an inclusive, family-oriented sporting club proudly based in Belmont, Geelong. We are a proud member of the Geelong & District Football Netball League (GDFNL) and have a long history of promoting teamwork, respect, and community spirit through football and netball.

Our home ground, Braces & Faces Reserve on Glyn Street, features recently upgraded facilities designed to enhance the experience for both players and spectators.

We’re deeply connected to our local community and are honoured to have shared a groundbreaking partnership with the Wathaurong Community for more than 40 years — a relationship that continues to shape who we are today.

With over 500 active members and players, the BLSC offers opportunities for everyone to get involved, from Auskick and junior programs through to senior football and open-grade netball. Our club is built on inclusion, development, and a genuine passion for sport.

Beyond the field and court, the Belmont Lions provide a welcoming social hub where members, families, and guests come together — whether it’s at the clubrooms or one of our valued sponsors’ venues.

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to fostering our junior programs and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our club within the GDFNL.
